JOIN OUR TEAM!

Are you interested in private practice but unsure how to navigate credentialing, billing, finances, or the logistics of getting started? Or are you feeling dissatisfied in your current workplace due to limited transparency or questionable practices? Avellar Warden Psychological Associates (AWPA) is an outpatient psychotherapy practice located in the heart of Squirrel Hill in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We are led by two seasoned psychologists who take pride in running a highly ethical, profitable, and well-supported practice. When you join us, you’ll receive practical mentorship on building and managing your professional life—from launching your practice to handling finances, quarterly taxes, and other skills typically overlooked in training programs.

We are currently seeking part-time and full-time independently contracted therapists to provide outpatient psychological evaluations and psychotherapy.

We have high demand for clinicians who can offer nights and weekends in our Squirrel Hill office, and these slots fill very quickly with new patient referrals. Special consideration is given to providers with expertise in:

·       Gottman-trained marital and couples therapy

·       OCD/ERP treatments

·       ADHD and executive functioning issues

·       Under-represented clinical populations

·       Therapists with experience and interest in creating skills-based virtual psychotherapy groups

You will receive a steady and reliable stream of clients with diverse presenting concerns, and we will actively support you in developing and maintaining a specialized caseload that reflects your interests.
